Website Shop Launch

I have launched my online store. Currently, there are two books and Cover Art Design products for sale. I will be adding books as they are released. I will autograph the books before they are mailed out to the purchaser. The books will only be autographed upon request.
I am excited and looking forward to the site to take off. I have always wanted to be my own boss and work from home. Unfortunately, I was not able to do this when my kids were home but everything happens in its own time.

Eye Update

Well, surgery has been scheduled. Had my consult with the surgeon yesterday. It is all still seeming surreal, but it is now on the calendar. I am anxious about it even though I know it will be being done by the most experienced surgeon with the medical clinic I am currently a patient of. I also know it will be done with the most advanced technology available.

My sons love to remind me of Final Destination 3. For those of you who have never seen this movie, there is a scene in the movie where a character went in for Lasik and the machine killed her. It seems a bit warped, but it is their way of teasing me to take away from the anxiety. It does make me laugh, because, of course, the movie is pretend and out of someone's imagination.

I know even if this surgery will not correct my vision issues, it will assist in the continued efforts to repair what is causing the vision impairment. If you have ever had a cataract or know anyone who has you know it blocks the vision seeing outward, however, it also prevents the doctor to see in. So hence the reason I need to have this surgery.

Down Day

Yesterday was fun, enjoyed spending time with my friend. Had Japanese food, which is my favorite. Then went shopping for a new suit for my friend. We then went to the grocery story to get some things she had forgotten when she placed her order the other day. I love helping her out.

However, today, my friends, is my down day. Although I had a few things I needed to complete before my hubby came home, I plan to relax as much as possible. Spirits are high and ambition is on the rise. I have many things I want to accomplish this week, so downtime is a must to get ready. Well, at least for me it is a must. :) Hubby wants to grill something for dinner tonight so I got chicken for BBQ Chicken, potato salad, and corn on the cob. I might make a quick run to the grocery store again and maybe grab a different veggie, but I haven't decided just yet.

Friend time...

I am off to spend some time with a friend whom I haven't seen in about a month. We have lots to catch up on and lots to discuss. She has been a friend for some time now and I really enjoy hanging out with her. I am excited and overjoyed when I get to see her. She always makes me laugh, but she will also listen and not judge me or make me feel like I always have to be strong.

If you have a friend like this, treasure them. They don't come along every day.
